Have you ever seen Japanese Yellow Page?




Have you seen Japanese Yellow book before??

Japanese Yellow book is called "Town Page" which has a face (dots reprents the eye balls and the lines for nose and mouth) on the front cover and colored in yellow!!




"Town Page" is written in Katakana format in Japanese on the cover.
Katakana format is used to represent foreign words which have been adopted into
the Japanese language and foreign names. so, if you want to have your name written in Japanese, Katakana format is the one that represnts your name in Japanese!


When you make a phone call in Japanese, you want to say "Moshi-Moshi" first
measing "Hello, are you there?"

"Moshi Moshi" is pronounced as moh-shee-moh-shee.
