How Shall We Live? - By Dou gen Zen Ji

Recently, I have been to one of the venerable Zen temple in Japan, called Eiheiji.
About 3 months ago, I have written about this temple, and showed you a number of photos I have taken.
This time, I went there to hold a memorial service for my dearest sister who have died when she was 1 year old. In Japan, this is called "Kuyou".
Anyway, I would like talk about one of the famous Zen master who have found the "Eihei Ji", and whose message talks about the impermanence of life.Here it is,
How Shall We Live?We are born and die one time in this human life-
How shall we live it?
That is the fundamental question of the Buddha Dhaema.
Is it a joyous thing to live long?
Life is not that way.
It is sorrowful to die after a shor life?
Life is not that way.
The question is how we shall live.
Well, if you have a chance to visit Japan, you shuld go to the "EiheiJi".
